Police in the UK are investigating the arson of a Jewish charity building

UK police are investigating the arson of a London building once used by a Jewish charity following similar incidents in previous weeks.
The fire broke out late Friday in the north London area of Hendon, the Metropolitan Police said in a statement. The police were called to the scene after 10:30 p.m. on Friday, when a man was seen approaching a row of shops carrying a plastic bag. He placed a bag near the building before setting fire to the contents, according to police.
The bag was later found to contain three bottles “filled with liquid,” police said. When the bottles failed to ignite fully, the man fled the scene, according to police.
No one is hurt. Photos show the sign of the Jewish Futures educational organization still visible in the window of the building. The Community Security Trust, a charity that provides security advice to Jewish groups, said the fire “caused minor damage to a nearby door.”
