President Donald Trump on Thursday criticized a violent video purportedly showing a Haitian immigrant killing a Florida mother with a hammer last week, criticizing the Biden administration for releasing the suspect in 2022.
Robert Joachim, 40, was charged second degree murder and vandalism after he was caught on camera beating the mother of two in broad daylight last Friday outside a Fort Myers gas station.
“An Illegal Alien Criminal from Haiti, released into our country by the WORST President in history, Crooked Joe Biden, and the Radical Democrats in Congress, just beat an innocent woman to death with a hammer at a gas station in Florida,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post. “The video of his brutal murder is one of the worst things you will ever see.
“This one murder should be enough for these tough judges to stop blocking my Administration’s immigration policies, and let us put an end to this scam once and for all,” he added.

Trump criticized a video of a Haitian immigrant who allegedly killed a Florida mother with a hammer in broad daylight.
Joachim first entered the US in August 2022, and was released from the country under former President Joe Biden, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
A federal judge later issued a final removal order against Joachim, but he was granted Temporary Protected Status, which Trump described as “a very abusive and fraudulent program.” He also criticized what he called “radical liberal district court judges” for blocking his administration’s efforts to end it.

Trump went on to say that Democrats are turning the United States into what he called a “dumping ground,” filled with tens of millions of unscreened and “mentally insane” people.
“To my fellow Republicans, and all Common Sense Americans, DON’T FORGET that Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have turned the United States of America into a dumping ground, allowing TENS OF MILLIONS of Criminals, Madmen, and Mentally Insane people from all over the World to pour into our country, unchecked and unchecked,” said our Open Border.

Trump called for prayers for the victim, who was a mother of two teenage daughters, according to a report from the local outlet Gulf Coast News.
