A Democratic US congresswoman was caught on camera sneaking through a side door of a Real Housewives of Rhode Island viewing party as the partial federal government shutdown approaches 50 days.
Fox News Digital was there Thursday night when Rep. Seth Magaziner, DR.I., tries to sneak into the party, where he rubs elbows with the cast of the new show. The first episode of Bravo’s Ocean State-focused season of the hit show “Real Housewives” aired at 9:00 p.m.

The Magaziner co-hosted the event with Democrat state Rep. Jackie Baginski and Seni. Hannah Gallo.
He was seen wearing a blue jacket and a white shirt with a white nose as he sang and posed for pictures with the cast and other attendees.
Gallo posted an open invitation to the beauty party on her Facebook page on March 21. The event began at 7:30 pm at the upscale Elliotte on Park in downtown Cranston, featuring hors d’Oeuvres, specialty cocktails and door prizes.

At the time of the call, Congress was furiously debating the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill, as Democrats refused to provide funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Finally, the legislature agreed to partially fund DHS last week, and members of both parties rushed out of spring break. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been hit hard by the shutdown, and as a result, American travelers have been stuck in hours-long lines at airports across the country.

Long lines at LaGuardia Airport persisted Thursday.
“Representative Magaziner believes it is outrageous that Speaker Johnson continues to refuse to call the house on recess,” the Magaziner’s office told Fox News Digital on Friday. “For the time being, he will continue to hold events in his district meetings and those in his neighborhood.

The White House has urged Congress to return from recess to complete the funding process.
“Nothing is really going to be right until Democrats do what they need to do to fully fund this agency,” White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said at Monday’s daily press conference. “The president has intervened – at the moment he is doing the right thing to end the problem we have had in air travel, at airports across the country at the moment.
