Macy’s is recalling thousands of Arch Studio tea kettles after safety officials warned of a potential fire hazard associated with the product.
The recall, announced on April 16 by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), affects about 4,600 units, according to the agency.
Officials said the handle of the tea kettle could come off if used when it is heated, risking serious burns. The company received three reports of the handle breaking off, although no injuries were reported.
