The complaint says Reynolds shared a vape pen with the handcuffed woman and told her he could “help” her with her case, allegedly suggesting they go to a hotel and have sex.

Investigators suspect Reynolds also showed the inmate sex videos and delayed taking him into jail, as other officers were processing other people in custody.

GOT ADVICE?

The woman told investigators she felt intimidated because of Reynolds’ position as a law enforcement officer and the “power dynamic” between them. He also indicated that it is possible that this incident is not an isolated incident, according to statements made in court.

During his first appearance, prosecutors told the court that the allegations were “extremely disturbing” given Reynolds’ position and the power imbalance between him and the suspect, adding that there were indications it may have happened earlier.
