Nexgrill is recalling 10 million grill brushes over a metal bristle hazard

More than 10 million grill brushes are being recalled nationwide after reports that the metal bristles can break off and end up in food.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced Thursday the recall of several Nexgrill wire brushes sold at Home Depot stores and online between 2015 and 2026.

“Small pieces of metal can come off the brushes and stick to the grill or food, posing a choking hazard and the risk of serious internal injuries that may require surgery,” the CPSC said.
